Fr. James Barnhill, our Rector was called
to our Church in 2008. Fr. James came to the Ministry following a
lengthy career in business, having worked in the realm of
corporate services marketing for over thirty years, both in Europe and
The United States. James holds a Master of Divinity from Trinity
Episcopal Seminary, a Masters of Business Administration from American
University of Washington, D.C., a Bachelors of Music and Journalism from
University of South Carolina, and an Associate Degree in Music from
Brevard College. James is a member of Rotary International,
President of the Marlboro County Ministerial Alliance, is Commissioned
in Stephen Ministries, and serves on the Board at York Place Home for

Carolyn Andrews is
St. Paul's Parish Administrator and Office Manager. Originally from
Durham, NC, she received a B.S. in Business Administration from
University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Carolyn is married to Scott
Andrews, who is the minister at First Presbyterian Church in
Bennettsville. Carolyn and Scott have two sons, Stephen a sophomore in
High School, and Chris is a freshman at Presbyterian College. Carolyn
also works part-time at the Marlboro Herald-Advocate, Bennettville's

Marian
David (pictured here in middle between Rev. Barnhill and Family Literacy
Center Board Member Julie Avent) is the Coordinator for the Marlboro
County Family Literacy Center which has been housed in the St. Paul's
Sunday School Building since 1996. Marian has worked as the Director of
the Marlboro County Children's Defense Fund (1992-1996), Director of the
CDF's National Freedom Schools (1994-1996), and as a Guidance Counselor
in the Newberry County and Marlboro County School Districts. Marian has
a Bachelors of Arts in Early Childhood Ecuation, a Master of Arts in
Education Counseling, and has Certificates of Post-Graduate
Specialization from University of South Carolina, MIT, Harvard School of
Divinity, and Claremont School of Theology. Marian can be reached by

Sandra Widejko
is our Organist and Choir Director.
Sandra graduated from Mars
Hill College with a Bachelor's of Music Degree, specializing in Music
Education, K-12. She has applied majors in Clarinet and Piano.
Currently Sandra holds a South Carolina Teaching Certificate in
Instrumental and Vocal Music. She has tuaght in the Marlboro County
School District for the past 31 years, and most recently teaches Vocal
Music and Music Appreciation at Marlboro County High School, where she
is also the Fine Arts Department Chair. Sandra and her husband Rick live
in Bennettsville, and the Widejkos have two children, Ryan who is a
full-scholarship honors student at Francis Marion University, majoring
in Chemical Engineering, and Maggie who is a seventh-grader at Marlboro
County's Magnet School, the School of Discovery.
